Begriffserklärung / Hintergrund:
Dünnes, leichtes Kernmantel-Seil aus Nylon. Ursprünglich als Fangleine bei amerikanischen Fallschirmen im Zweiten Weltkrieg eingesetzt. Nach dem Absprung konnten die Fallschirmjäger die Leinen meist für viele andere Zwecke nutzen.
Heutzutage wird Paracord nicht nur von den amerikanischen Streitkräften als vielseitige Allzweck-Leine eingesetzt. (Quelle: Wikipedia)
